dos and don'ts ...

don'ts:
  • don't visit tables or areas of strangers
  • don't squirt ketchup on others
  • don't squirt the mustard just to make farty sounds
  • don't fly kites or throw lawn darts into other picnicers
  • don't force your loud music on others
  • don't eat raw hamburger
  • don't turn your dog loose to doodle everywhere
  • don't allow your dog to run into other's picnic areas
  • dont allow your dog or kids to run into other folks areas scarfing food, begging or jumping up on people.
  • don't you run into other's space scarfing food, begging or jumping up on people.
  • don't under-dress - keep attire family friendly
  • don't take photos of people who do not want their photo taken
  • don't leave your garbage for others to clean up
  • don't feed the bears
  • don't drink and drive
  • don't smoke or lite fires in non-burn zones
  • don't pinch children's cheeks and tell them how much they look like their mom, they hate this and will avoid you forever.
dos:
  • do have fun
  • do keep cold food cold and hot food hot
  • do bring family photos to share
  • do bring a camera
  • do help others carry items to and from their cars
  • do thoroughly put out fires and coals before departing
  • do clean up before you leave
  • do pay the host for your share of the site rental
  • do remember the "Golden Rule"
  • do utilize shade and drink lots of liquids in hot weather
  • do keep track of your kids
  • do count how many kids you arrived with and how many you leave with
  • do run an ID check on relatives not wanting their photo taken. :)
